Pipe
Ocean produces different types
of pipe in various dimensions
to meet diverse industry standards and
project requirements.
Types
Non-Reinforced Pipe
Ocean’s non-reinforced
concrete pipe exceeds both ASTM C14 and CSA A257.1 specifications.
Standard sizes start at 250 mm diameter and increase to 900 mm diameter.
Reinforced Pipe
Reinforced concrete pipe is
used for either storm water or sanitary sewer applications, with
or without gaskets. It is available in sizes from 300 mm to 3050
mm diameters, and exceeds both ASTM C76 and CSA A257.2 specifications.
Low-Head Pressure Pipe
Low-head pressure pipe is
suitable for internal static pressures ranging from 75 KPa to 375
KPa (54 psi) in trenches up to 6 metres in depth. Ocean manufactures
low-head pressure pipe to meet ASTM C361 specifications, and has
supplied various pipeline projects throughout BC and Washington
state.
Liner Pipe
Ocean Pipe manufactures
concrete pipe with an integrally cast HDPE lining. The lining
protects the pipe in situations where extreme exposure would
normally corrode the concrete. Typical applications include acid
containment tanks and sewer lines, which may tend to build-up
hydrogen sulfide.
