Concrete box culverts, or box sections, can be manufactured for horizontal or vertical applications. Box culverts are ideally suited for detention tanks, installations in which circular pipe cannot provide sufficient flow capacity, or wide conduits where height restrictions necessitate a shallow vertical rise.

Typical applications include: storm sewers, highway culverts, pedestrian underpasses, storm retention or containment chambers, pumping pits or stations, ditch and creek replacements, valve chambers, small bridges, and manholes.

Ocean Pipe’s box sections range in size from 1800 mm x 900 mm to 2400 x 3050 mm. Custom configurations are available for fish baffles, cobblestone bases, weirs and many other options.
